Meet Manish!

We love to showcase the awesome people who work here at 729 Solutions because they are more than just great employees – they are creative and interesting people! Today we spoke with Manish, a 729er who like most of us, wears many hats in his role here as a Developer. He is one of our Certified Zendesk Administrator’s who has worked on many custom Guide and Support Configuration projects. He is also well versed in front end development using HTML/CSS and several CRMs.

While many of our developers are self-taught, that’s not the case for Manish! He holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Rohtak University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from HNB Garhwal University.

Manish lives in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India with his family, and has been working in the software industry since 2007.

We asked Manish to answer a few questions for us. Here are his thoughtful responses.

What do you like about working for 729?

I am happy to be a part of the 729 team! I like the way project management and communication with clients is handled. Guidance from our leadership makes our assignments clear and efficient.

What are your hobbies?

I like to travel, especially within my state Uttarakhand – which is known as Simply Heaven. There are a lot of places where you can visit here, and I’ve been to many of them, like Mussoorie (Queen of hills), Nainital, Rishikesh (Yoga center & Himalayan trekking), Haridwar, Auli, Ranikhet, Valley Of flowers (Chamoli), Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Bhimtal, Lansdowne, Chopta, Munsyari & Mana. Apart from Uttarakhand, I like visiting other places in India like Kerala and Kanyakumari.
 
I also love to listen to Bollywood music and independent Punjabi songs!

What are you doing to entertain yourself during COVID-19 Stay at Home orders?

I am enjoying time with my family and playing the Carrom Pool Game. I am also trying to cook new dishes I haven’t tried before!

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

You can achieve anything where you set your mind to it, no matter what the conditions are.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

I would tell them to work with us, you need to show qualities of respect and honesty.

Cats or dogs?

I love both cats and dogs. Unfortunately, we don’t have any pets in our home.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

I love that we complete unbelievably difficult tasks by working together!

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?

I always wanted to be the “Iron Man” from Marvel Superhero, so I could enhance technology to great levels in the world!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a cricketer and a singer – but unfortunately, I couldn’t do any of those. However, I do play cricket with kids now and sing songs for myself. Those things give me pleasure!

If you were a pasta shape, what shape would you be and why?

I would be the shape of the Lasagne because I like straight-forward people.

Is there anything else you’d like the world to know about you?

I am a fun-loving person who likes to work in a joyful environment! Working for 729 has been great for me because I’m always learning new technologies and interacting with new people. As a Zendesk Developer, I am very happy to be a part of a team that is a Zendesk Master Partner!
